One reason why we pray

And this is just the beginning of spring/summer, I think I might need to stock up on first aid supplies~ He is such a boy and I love it but he does make me so much more grateful for God's protection and he makes me realize I need to pray more for God's protection for both my children.

Straight Lines

I finally got around to making valances and a crib cover for our little Tulips room. I have only had the material since Christmas~Thank you Mom:) As long as I have straight lines to sew and people stand a couple feet away from the end result they look pretty good:) I enjoyed the project but am also very glad it's done.

Spring

is here finally! It felt like it was a really long winter to me but the flowers blooming, the leaves appearing and the fresh spring air make it all better:) Nathan is enjoying spring as much as I am, he loves to be outside doing just about anything. So much to explore and see, taste testing sand and dirt, chasing bees..(I have told him this might not be in his best interest but he continues to be curious). His scooter we got him for Christmas is a hit, he is getting the hang of it really quick and the helmet has already been a blessing.
Our church had a father/son outing last week at the opening baseball game for the Reading Phillies. I wasn't sure how Nathan was going to do during the game but Daddy said he loved it. He was taking everything in and clapping and stomping with the crowd, loved watching the game and eating a $3 box of Cracker Jacks with Daddy. Oh, and I can't forget the fireworks! They got home around 10PM and Nathan was beaming with excitement still and talking about his date with daddy for the next couple days. In this video you can see his complete concentration.
And then our little Tulip update...The first of May we will be able to post pictures and more information about her. She is getting so big, growing up so fast! She is 7 1/2 months old now and yesterday I felt her first tooth coming in which explains her and my interrupted sleep for the past few days. She is starting to move forward however I don't think you can really call it crawling, she looks more like an inch worm:)
