Vacation With A Splash

Our yearly family vacation has come and gone again. We stayed close to home this year enjoying a couple day trips and lots of pool time. We joined a local pool this year and have enjoyed it soo much. It has been well worth the money, the kids love it and so do Mom and Dad. Nathan has really lost his fear of water and is determined to learn how to swim. During the week he also decided he was going to jump of the diving bored and much to our amazement that is just what he did.
We took a day trip to Stone Harbor and the kids loved the ocean! Mommy sat in a chair most of the day because of my injured foot and Daddy jumped waves and played most of the day but he enjoyed every bit. Nathan found a crab and Lydia told Daddy "let's go out there and get lost".
And this was our cue that it was time to pack it up and head home:)
We also took a day trip with some friends to a local amusement park. They are still asking daily to go back. Lydia's favorite was definitely the bumper cars...you can see it in her face. Nathan liked the water coaster, the water slides and a really big swing (no pic), and of course the ferris wheel that nearly gave Mommy a heart attack.

Good memories of God's kindness to us.
