We celebrated Lydia's birthday yesterday which was also the one year anniversary of us picking our little tulip up from the hospital. We had a good time with family celebrating and thanking the Lord for this precious life. One of her cousins asked me why I always curl her hair:) I had to share these cake pictures because she is just too cute. She didn't have a chance to blow out her own candle even if she knew how...Nathan was only trying to keep her from getting burned, right?:)

That last picture is perfect! What a happy, happy little one year old you have on your hands :) We are so thrilled for you all as you celebrate all of these momentous days - adopting Lydia and then celebrating her birthday and the day that you received her last year.
