We decided to give T-Ball a try this year with Nathan. He is such an athlete but we were/are a little concerned with his ability to focus and have self-control. Practices were very interesting, while all the other parents are sitting at the side lines watching, Steve or/and I are giving Nathan the constant direction he needs. We were nervous about his first game (Nathan was just so excited to finally wear his uniform:) but we both were actually pretty amazed at how well he did. Very proud of our little boy! He played very well for the first 40 minuted, definitely the most animated and spirited player on the field:) And besides giving each batter a wack on the head when they came to first base or attempting to kick the kid guarding each base as he runs home he did pretty well with self control:/ He has played 2 games and I am excited to watch his third!
He's a natural!
Can't help but smile and say "That's my boy!" when he does this:)
