And then it was time to go to bed. The kids were excited and we had a good time being silly together and we slept well until about 3:30-4AM. That's when Lydia woke up and there was no going back to sleep, just tried to not wake up the other cherub...which went well until about 4:15am when the beautiful cardinal began singing right outside our tent...and then Lydia needed to return the chirp. By 4:30 they were both up and running around the tent, Mommy and Daddy were their obstacle course, bruises were being given out and by 5:00 we thought it best to have breakfast so the neighbors would not be woken up. By 6:00 Daddy had everything packed up and put away and Mommy declared it nap time:) We all slept until 9!
